Supplied Air Respirator
Traditional respirators are only as effective as the seal they form against your face—which can be challenging under the best conditions and virtually impossible if you have facial hair. Poor seals can lead to headaches, exposure to harmful vapors, and long-term respiratory issues.
Our Supplied Air Respirator System eliminates the need to rely on a tight face seal. Instead, it delivers a continuous supply of clean, filtered air directly into your mask, keeping you protected from harmful fumes and odors.
This system is designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing 3M™ mask. It connects to a standard compressed air line (with proper filtration) via a waist-mounted manifold. The manifold features two ports:
One connects to your spray gun using the included hose whip.
The other supplies clean air to your mask through an adjustable valve, routing the hose up your back to stay out of your way while you work.
Swivel fittings ensure maximum mobility and comfort, and the universal adapters fit any standard 3M™ respirator mask.
Important Safety Note:
Compressed air is not inherently safe to breathe. If you do not already have a proper air filtration system, we highly recommend reviewing our breathable air filtration units to find the right one for your setup.
Three-Stage Filtration for Safe Breathing Air:
To convert compressed air into breathable air, you'll need the following filtration stages:
Stage 1 – Particulate Filter/Regulator: A 5-micron filter element removes water and large particles.
Stage 2 – Coalescing Filter: A 0.01-micron filter eliminates oil aerosols and finer contaminants.
Stage 3 – Activated Carbon Filter: This stage removes harmful vapors and odors, ensuring the air you breathe is clean and safe.
