Metal Sculpture Workshop with Special Guest Artist
Join us for a hands-on Metal Sculpture Workshop led by Knoxville-based metal artist Marisa Mitchell and special guest sculptor Codie Aljets from Colorado.
This immersive, small-group class is designed for creatives, beginners, and experienced makers alike who want to explore sculptural metal in an inspiring, collaborative environment.
🗓 March 12th
⏰ 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
💲 $150 per person
During this 2.5-hour workshop, you’ll create your own steel sculpture from start to finish. Participants will choose one of three designs:
• A sculptural wall-hanging fish
• A dimensional metal flower
• A forged-style feather
Marisa and Codie will guide you through cutting, shaping, welding, and finishing techniques while sharing insight into their artistic processes and approaches to metal sculpture.
This class is more than just a workshop — it’s an opportunity to:
• Learn directly from two working metal sculptors
• Connect with other creatives in the community
• Build confidence working with steel
• Leave with a finished piece you’re proud of
All materials are included. No prior experience required.
Spots are limited to keep the class intimate and hands-on.
