After 30 years in marketing and media with E.W. Scripps, Lisa turned her attention toward creating social and economic impact through art, culture, and innovation. As Executive Director of Dogwood Arts, she helped strengthen the organization’s role in Knoxville’s art community before launching her own creative capital firm, where she worked with entrepreneurs to grow their brands, improve business practices, and strengthen their bottom lines.

Lisa also collaborated with the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center and the City of Knoxville to advance the Maker City initiatives, supporting makers and the micro-economies surrounding locally made products. She later consulted on the development and launch of the Maker Exchange.

For the past 20 years, Lisa has found her own artistic expression in stained glass, creating windows and doors that explore the interplay of light, texture, color, and pattern. Her work reflects both her appreciation for fine craftsmanship and her belief in the power of creativity to transform spaces and connect people.
