Intro to Flameworking: Hot Glass Winter Workshop — February 20th

This introductory borosilicate lampworking/flameworking class begins with a safety overview and basic torch orientation before moving into the fundamentals of flameworking.

Students will each operate their own torch and create a glass icicle ornament to take home!
Please wear closed-toe shoes, cotton clothing, and pull long hair back. Didymium safety glasses will be provided for each student.

Visualize Art Studio is the product of a shared vision among friends who felt a strong pull to share their love of glass art with their community. Though they’ve recently opened their studio and begun teaching, they’ve been creating glass art for over 10 years. Their goal is to foster a love of glass in everyone who experiences one of their classes—and we’re thrilled they’re bringing this workshop to Able Trade!

Tuition: $40 per time slot (materials included)
